Livigent MDM PRIVACY POLICY
Effective Date: January 11, 2026
Last Updated: January 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Gentech Solution ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Livigent MDM mobile application, the Livigent MDM admin console, our websites that link to this Privacy Policy, and any associated mobile device management (MDM), VPN, and deep packet inspection (DPI) services (collectively, the "Services").
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use the Services.
1) WHO WE ARE; HOW TO CONTACT US
Company: Gentech Solution
Address: 12 Shefa Chaim Ave, Lakewood, NJ 08701
Email (Privacy): [email protected]
Email (Support): [email protected]
2) IMPORTANT CONTEXT: ENTERPRISE / MANAGED DEVICES
The Services are often used by organizations (for example, employers or schools) to manage devices and network access.
- If your organization (the "Customer") enrolled your device, your Customer's Admins may control settings, enforce security policies, require use of a VPN, and configure DPI/telemetry. Your Customer may be able to view certain device and network information generated by the Services, depending on configuration.
- In many cases, your Customer is the "data controller" (the entity deciding why/how data is processed) and Company acts as a "processor/service provider" (processing on behalf of Customer). In those cases, your Customer's privacy notices and policies also apply.
If you are an end user on a managed device and have questions about monitoring, logging, or what your organization can see, contact your Admin.
3) INFORMATION WE COLLECT
The exact data we collect depends on how the Services are configured (including whether the device is corporate-owned or personal BYOD with a work profile).
A. Information you provide
- Account Information: name, email address, organization name, username, password (stored in hashed form), and admin roles.
- Billing Information: subscription plan, payment status, invoices, and transaction identifiers. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor (e.g., Google Play, Stripe) and are not stored by us except where explicitly stated.
- Support Communications: information you include when you contact support (messages, attachments, and troubleshooting details).
B. Device and MDM information (collected from enrolled/managed devices)
MDM features may collect or generate:
- Device identifiers and attributes (e.g., device name, model, manufacturer, OS version, language, time zone, unique IDs such as Android ID and/or enterprise identifiers; for corporate devices this may include serial/IMEI where available and permitted),
- Device compliance and security state (e.g., passcode/encryption status, screen lock settings, whether the device is rooted/jailbroken, OS patch level, security configuration),
- Inventory and configuration data (e.g., installed managed apps; and, on certain corporate-owned configurations, broader app inventory),
- Management events (enrollment status, policy versions, commands sent, results of commands),
- Optional location data (only if enabled by Customer/Admin and permitted by device settings).
C. VPN information
If you enable our VPN functionality, we may process:
- VPN connection metadata (e.g., connection start/end time, duration, device identifier, VPN protocol, tunnel endpoint, bytes transferred, error codes),
- IP addresses (e.g., the device's source IP and the VPN egress IP),
- DNS and domain-related data if DNS filtering or threat protection is enabled.
We do NOT recommend collecting more data than needed. If you choose to enable additional logging, it should be disclosed clearly to end users.
D. DPI / network inspection information
If DPI or advanced traffic analysis features are enabled, the Services may analyze network traffic to detect threats, enforce policy, troubleshoot, or prevent data loss. Depending on configuration and encryption, we may process:
- flow/packet metadata (IP addresses, ports, protocol, timestamps, SNI where applicable),
- DNS queries and domain names,
- URL, application, or category information,
- security signals (file hashes, malware indicators, policy matches),
- and, in some deployments, decrypted content (for example, if Customer enables TLS inspection by installing a trusted certificate and routing traffic through an inspection gateway).
We aim to minimize collection and retain DPI data only as long as needed for the configured purpose and retention period.
E. App and website analytics/diagnostics
- Crash logs, performance metrics, device type/OS version, and diagnostics events.
- Website cookies and similar technologies (if you use our website). See Section 11.
4) HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use information to:
- Provide and operate the Services (enrollment, policy enforcement, VPN connectivity, security features),
- Authenticate users and Admins, maintain accounts, and provide customer support,
- Detect, prevent, investigate, and respond to security incidents, abuse, fraud, or illegal activity,
- Enforce our Terms of Service, protect our rights, and comply with legal obligations,
- Improve reliability and performance (for example, troubleshooting crashes and service outages),
- Manage subscriptions, billing, and business operations,
- Communicate service updates, security notices, and administrative messages.
We do not use VPN/DPI data for behavioral advertising unless we clearly disclose it and obtain any required consent.
5) LEGAL BASES (EEA/UK AND SIMILAR JURISDICTIONS)
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of:
- Contract: to provide the Services you request,
- Legitimate interests: to secure and improve the Services and prevent abuse (balanced against your rights),
- Consent: where required (for example, certain optional analytics or features),
- Legal obligation: to comply with laws and lawful requests.
6) HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We may share information as follows:
A. With the Customer/Admin (managed devices)
If your device is enrolled/managed, we may make available to your Customer/Admin the device and network telemetry configured in the Services (for example, compliance status, device identifiers, and configured VPN/DPI logs). The Customer/Admin determines what they collect and how they use it.
B. With service providers (processors)
We use vendors to help provide the Services (for example, hosting, analytics, support tools, and payment processing). They are permitted to process data only to provide services to us and must protect it.
C. For legal reasons
We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to:
- comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request,
- enforce our agreements and policies,
- protect the security and integrity of the Services,
- protect the rights, property, or safety of Company, Customers, end users, or the public.
D. Business transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not "sell" personal information as that term is defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).
7) DATA RETENTION
We keep information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Typical retention periods:
- Account and billing records: retained indefinitely.
- MDM device records: retained indefinitely.
- VPN/DPI logs: retained indefinitely.
- Support tickets: retained indefinitely.
If your Customer is the controller, they may set different retention periods.
8) SECURITY
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, such as access controls and encryption in transit. For VPN traffic, the tunnel between the device and the VPN endpoint is designed to be encrypted using WireGuard.
No system can be guaranteed 100% secure. You are responsible for using strong passwords, protecting Admin accounts (including multi-factor authentication where available), and maintaining device security.
9) YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- access, correct, or delete personal information,
- object to or restrict certain processing,
- request portability,
- withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent),
- appeal certain decisions (where required),
- opt out of certain sharing/processing (e.g., California).
Managed devices: If your organization controls your account or device enrollment, you may need to request access/deletion through your Admin. We may be legally required to direct certain requests to the Customer/controller.
10) ACCOUNT DELETION
If you can create an account in the app, you can request deletion as follows:
- In-app: VPN -> Cancel Subscription
- Email: [email protected]
We may retain certain information as required by law (for example, billing records) or for security/fraud prevention.
11) COOKIES AND TRACKING (WEBSITE)
If you use our website, we may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, analytics, and (if enabled) marketing. You can control cookies via browser settings and, where required, our cookie banner/consent tool.
12) INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Where required (for example, transfers from the EEA/UK), we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
13) THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Services may integrate with third-party services (e.g., identity providers, MDM frameworks, threat intelligence feeds). Your use of those services is governed by their terms and privacy policies.
14) CHILDREN
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
15) CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and update the "Last Updated" date. If changes are material, we will provide notice as required by law.
